I had an incredible experience at Northlands Bar and Grill. John provided outstanding service, always attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was a flavor delight! And the view overlooking the golf course was simply fantastic, making for a perfect dining atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and beautiful scenery! Can't wait to come back.

I didn’t realize this place was open to the public, but I’m glad I gave it a try, it turned out to be a great experience. The menu is small, but the options are well chosen and offer something for every taste. The price is also very reasonable. On a sunny day, the atmosphere is fantastic, with beautiful scenery all around. Definitely worth a visit!

We really enjoyed Breakfast with Santa at Northlands recently. It was buffet style with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, chocolate chip pancakes, juice, coffee and a large selection of desserts including festive cupcakes, cookies and cake. The chocolate cake was my favourite!! I ate way too much and was completely stuffed by the end…lol. The view up there is always beautiful, lots of free parking and well worth the drive. We were really lucky that it didn’t rain that day. Service was good too. It was surprisingly cost effective too at $28.50 per person for adults. That’s incredible value for the Lower Mainland. Plus we got to meet the big guy himself Santa and he posed for pics with families and gave toys to the young kids. I understand that the management (and concept?) is changing in the New Year and I hope the new people continue this great tradition.

Update September 2024: Another wonderful meal and excellent friendly service, by Melissa and Joanne, while also managing a wedding reception! So yes, the wait was a little longer, and still well worth it for the food, location and atmosphere. And I actually remembered to take photos this time - a snippet of the beautiful view, the fireplace inside and our meals tonight - Chicken Red Thai Curry, Salmon Burger and Lamb Shanks. Thanks again and see you soon! August 2024: This is a long overdue review - we are not golfers but live in the neighbourhood and Northlands Bar and Grill has been a favourite for many years. The view and atmosphere is extraordinary, the food is delicious, and service is wonderful. I need to give special thanks to Melissa and Joanne - they are so friendly and always take great care of us! Even at the end of a long day - service with big smiles and helpful suggestions! My favourite dish is the Prawn and Scallop Risotto - I was sooo disappointed to see that this is no longer on the menu - PLEASE bring it back! The Lamb Shanks are also delicious - a couple of us enjoyed those this evening while another family member enjoyed the Salmon Burger. Also recommend the Chicken Red Thai Curry. But I need the Prawn and Scallop Risotto back PLEASE!!

Had the ling cod, and tiramisu dip for dessert. Good sized portions, big enough to share for a light meal each. The ling cod was delicious, and the tiramisu was a perfect dessert. Charming atmosphere, and a nice size, at about 20 tables. Server was attentive and quick. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely patio overlooking the course. Salmon burger was tasty and not overcooked (it was a fillet of salmon and not a pre-made patty) and garnished with fresh vegetables. The clubhouse was also very good using a well seasoned whole fillet of chicken breast & bacon slices. The beer was cold, and service was excellent despite being very busy on a weekend afternoon. I liked the option of having the choice of different sides (side salad, onion rings, fries, or Caesar salad) and if you can’t decide, then choose 1/2 & 1/2 sides like we did!

Great service from Emma! Food was delicious. The lamb was great but the centre was a bit cold so they rectified the situation right away with professionalism and grace. Gnocchi was yummy! Fish N chips - very good. The view was also an added bonus! Got to watch the sunset over the trees

Atmosphere! Northlands has a good choice of beer on tap and in bottles, wine and mixed drinks you would expect in a bar and a menu with intriguing appetizers and mains. The lingcod with coconut curry and jasmine rice was wonderful and the truffle Parmesan fries are highly recommended. They have huge windows overlooking the golf course and a cozy fire place but everyone was outside on the huge balcony which has plenty of shade. A wonderful place to spend an afternoon eating and drinking.
